So after training 2 new caregivers, yesterday's incident where I had to pull david off the ground and get him to the hospital (again), and now my sister will be at the DMV tomorrow, I've been on maximum duty for the past 10 straight days. Back pain going up steadily. Concerned I'll be an invalid very soon. Taking Advil by the handful.

Rough weekend. Caregiver said he may or may not come Friday. He said he'd say if not. He didn't. I get up at 8:25 and find my sister out there with my stepfather, still in bed. So my stepfather's home, much to our surprise. We didn't expect that to happen for just a bit longer. Man plans, God splits his sides in hysterics. Same building, new floor. Liked the other floor better. No hot nurses on the 4th floor. Still same problems: can't stand, can't talk, random nausea, incontinence, and who knows how many other minor problems. Strokes are like that. The therapists say they see signs of improvement.
