[Translation] Potato 0905 Spring in Full Blossom - Kato Shigeaki

Translation is a good way to cure sleeplessness ^^;

So, spring is here and of course no self-respecting idol magazine would pass up on the chance to make the idols wax lyrical about it.
And of course the start of spring means the start of a new school year with new classmates and what better way to start the year than to take your favorite idols' advice on self-introductions? XD

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I'll start to think it's spring when I see sakura. On the train to school, I get to see cherry trees for one second at a certain point and I really like that scenery. When you talk about sakura, sakura viewing comes to mind. By the way, I am interested in sakura viewing! It's nice if you can see the sakura from a friend's place. Somewhere along the riverside. Then we'll drink and eat under the sakura tree, I want to go for a conventional sakura viewing like this!

Even though spring is said to be the season for new encounters and separation,  I've been in the same school from junior high to university. My friends are pretty much the same. That's why I think I've experienced less encounters and separations compared to others. But when I was in elementary school, my parents were always transferred around due to their work so I had many separations. Separations are painful even for elementary school kids. I think I bawled out loud. I was living in Kansai region then, so I guess it felt like "Nande ya nen! (What is this?)" (laugh)

It's really nerve-wrecking when you enter the new classroom after transferring to the new school. I think it's best to play safe when you make self introduction in your new class! If you start off on a high note, there's a chance that people might find it funny, isn't it? Then your classmates will start to hold expectations of you. Then someday you'll disappoint them and soon they will be sick of you. (laugh) For self-introductions, it's ok to just say what everyone says. But it's best not to give the impression that you're shy. There are people who would feel irritated if you're bashful and hesitant. Read the atmosphere and say something ordinary. This is the best!

As for encounters, I went to Bangladesh on a work assignment. It's quite a poor country among the Asian countries and I went and met a Japanese who is working hard over there. That person has been teaching Bangladeshis about what it means to work through her business. She might be petite but she is also a powerful and wonderful lady. My thoughts after going to Bangladesh is that Japan is indeed a very privileged country, but that does not necessarily mean that it is a good country. That country might have a lot of problems but it is a good country. Everyone there said that they love their country.

Thanks for reading ^^
