So I finally got all eight of my tomato plants into containers outside, and then it starts raining today. Most of the plants are drooping and one has actually broken completely off at the stem. *sigh*
Well, now I'll have at least one unoccupied large planter to put something else in. I was hoping to try growing an unusual type of veggie, called
Romanesco broccoli. It looks fabulous, like a work of art, and supposedly it tastes better than ordinary broccoli. It's a cool weather plant, so I *guess* I should start it in late summer...? I'm not sure, but that's what I'll attempt.
