Hello Vincent,
I'm sorry I haven't corresponded in awhile; I've been so, so busy, and I just signed up for that new
mentoring program that Professor McGonagall is organizing. I must have been crazy to want to take on any more responsibilities right now! Please tell me I'm not crazy...
Thanks for the chocolate plants! I especially like the taste of the minty ones, though I always have to be careful of the nettles, which puts a damper on things somewhat. I think the people who thought it up might need to work on the design a little bit, because chocolate and nettles are not meant to go together!
I'm glad your business is going well--it does sound like fun, at least if you are good at finding things. :)I'm a little surprised that the first years are bold enough to ask you though., I'm not--I'm mostly only good at losing them. Especially my Herbology notes, which just seem to keep disappearing.
And what's this about a tree on your head?! Did that extremely odd Ravenclaw girl hex you? You _have_ gotten it off by now, haven't you? If so, we should definitely meet to work on the project soon.
The whole business with Corner and Malfoy and Parkinson sounds much too convoluted for me. Though I'm extremely amused by the mental picture of Malfoy's annoyance.
Did you see me flying in the Quidditch match? I wouldn't want to play competitive Quidditch for a whole season like the real team members do, because I don't think I could keep up that drive to win. I love flying just because it's flying, you know? but just for once it was brilliant! And I like to think that I helped contribute to the Hufflepuff win. I do feel a bit badly for my friend
Zacharias, because the only reason I was playing was that he got suspended from the game because he got in a whole bloody lot of trouble. But it was still fun. Although
certain housemates of mine have been twitting me about the green eyeshadow I was wearing to cover up my bruises. _That_ is why I don't do girly things. I always get them _wrong_.
Are you going home for Easter hols? I am--I'm really looking forward to seeing my family again.
hope all's well in the dungeons,
Eloise
