It's that time again guys! Let's discuss!
This chapter broke my heart, but what else is new?
Gah, every time we get a chapter that focuses on Vincent I end up loving him even more. Even when he's doing bad things! I can't help it. *hangs head in shame*
(
How do I love thee, Vincent? Let me count the ways... )

Pfft, go away, genius. We don't need 99% accuracy fortune tellers who predict the whole series around here ):<
I thought Vincent had simply told Leo what he had been thinking at the time, which made the poor dear think about Elliot. I think he was just covering his mouth in his guilt/pain/suffering, similar to the way Gil did in chapter 22

Yes, I think it's likely that Vincent was thinking those thoughts with Duke Nightray, but actually voiced them to Leo. Kind of like how you are telling a story to someone about something that happened, and then you tell them what you were thinking, but didn't actually voice when the story originally happened.
Yeah, it's likely that Leo was covering his mouth in horror/suffering, but the cough thing threw me off. I immediately thought of Break, and wondered if Leo is harboring an chain contract of his own.

Ah well. Gloat all you want. I did the same thing later in the post! XD
Though, when I linked chapter 22 to you, I noticed the similarity in those images. Both were brought about by memory of the person they love most (<3), as well as extreme guilt for causing the incident. More Gil/Leo parallels.
Ooh, Break. I didn't think about that at all. What if Leo is contracted to a strength-zapping chain? Oh but Break's coughs were hacking, and would only occur after or during the use of Mad Hatter. We would know if Leo had been using his chain just then... probably. He was at a research facility for chains, after all... >_>

And with the connection you say abuot pag 44 and the third panel of chapter 35, to me it seems that Gil is being devoted to the encarnation of Jack (like the old times) and Vincent to Glen's ;) but for diferent motive now :D
And When Vincent think "They relly look like..." ...Glen, I guess cause Glen had purple eyes :P
Was nice to read your brilliant disscusion I enjoy it!
Sayonara! =D

Also, Leo resembles Alice a lot in the last page O_O I'm wondering if Glen is Alice's father.......

Both this chapter and chapter 45 show this scene next to the mention of Gil being poisoned.. The fact that it showed up twice tells us nothing because nothing is different. So I assume that Sensei will be doing more with this in the chapters to come.
As for Glen possibly being Alice's father... I've been thinking that since the beginning! :D

The other scene i was referring to with Gil and the dead body was in issue 45 p 33.
Agreed, this definitely will need some exploring.
Sorry I was unclear ^^;

I had seen the scene in chapter 45 though, and I still think that nothing new has been learned. Buut, the fact that Gil was an intended victim of Claude and Ernest could explain why Vince looked so protective and hurt in chapter 45. Possibly in this chapter he was referring to a totally different attack? And he just hasn't told us what it was yet. After all, he had no problem telling Ada that Gil had been poisoned, but when he told Leo, he said that he attacked Gil.
