State of the Thesis Update
Current Critter Tally: 35/36
Total images completely and utterly done including framing if necessary: 12/36 (4 framed)
Total images completely and utterly done except for framing: 7/12
Images needing to be stamped: 15/36
Images needing text printed: 15 (not necessarily same 15 as above, oddly enough)/36
Spreadsheet of DOOM: slowly filling with Xs
Words written on thesis: slightly over 600
Grading for WS: Caught up for a couple more days
Grading for Print 1: Caught up
Plan for next Print 1 project: Mostly yeah.
Soreness of arms: Hells yeah
Tickets to gun show: Right here.
Ended up having to reprint the Mothman and Marfa Lights pieces because I still can't find the damn original editions, and was worried that I couldn't wait any longer on them. Did a mini-edition of 10, and found out I actually am a much better screenprinter than I was a year ago, shock of shocks.
I've also been sending out show cards like a mad-show-card-sender, since I just got 200 of them.
One of these days I will take many pictures and post them, so that you guys can see what the two latest monsters and the framing job look like.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to go to ABQ for a bookbinding supply place (and a couple of other things *cough*yarnshop*cough*) so I can get supplies to build the folio for 24 of the critters.
My uncle and a couple of other people have suggested I do a print-on-demand book of the critters, like through Blurb, once this is over. I think it's a good idea.
