If you define "A Good Day" as one that does not begin with an email informing you that your thesis (the one you haven't finished writing yet) is due today to your advisor... then today was not a good day.
The good part is that it only needs to be the first draft, since I'm supposed to get edits back and then send out the final copy to the whole committee on the fifth, and I did have two pages written. So today once I'd finished teaching and being taught I holed up, mashed the keyboard for a while, and just sent my advisor a draft of four solid pages plus change. It probably needs to be a few pages longer, but my advisor can tell me where and how it needs expansion.
Other than that... we hang next week. I defend in two weeks as of tomorrow. I'm wishing I could clone myself. 23 critters totally done, almost all of the framing done. I think I have supplies for the folio box, I actually bought the store out of a couple of things. I wish I wish I wish that any of my friends that are better at bookbinding stuff that I am were around to help me, but I'm going to have to just go carefully and hope for the best.
