I'm still alive...I think
This has been the first real chance I have had to sit down and post. The past few months have been a rollacoaster ride from hell. It started in December and hasn't calmed down til just now, but it's still a bit rough.
Mom had to sell her house to keep from being foreclosed on by the bank. She moved into an apartment with dad and Zuni, having to get rid of Sasha the dog. She's been doing alright.
Dad's been slowly getting worse and mom's afraid he's got less than a few years left before he becomes completely dependent on her. His medications are now costing over a thousand dollars a month, which makes living very difficult for them. We try to help out but we're having problems as well.
David and I are doing great, aside from the rest of life. The base is screwing with him more and more as he comes closer to getting out, now not even giving him a paycheck. That being said, I'm trying to get a job going for myself to help out with bills. I'd be working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week and making $7.25 an hour. Not too bad for Yuma.
We had to get rid of Brack, our kitten, when we moved into our apartment. It was either him or Cassie. She's been so hyper lately...it's scary.
Those are the highlights of the past few months. Like I said, nothing good really. Hopefully life will come on our side of the court soon. It's been one helluva ride lately and I think it's about time for some change.
David's friend is going to trade his newly rebuilt Camarro for our now not working Mazda. David doesn't really like that it's an automatic but he knows I'll be able to drive it easily so...it's all good.
I really need to write my friends. I bet they feel I've forgotten them, especially Tony. Expect an email soon!
