Well...I think I've had one of the most intelligent doctor visit's ever in the history of the world yesterday. *note sarcasm heavier than a Blue Whale*
I go to the doctor after coughing and sneezing my head off for 3 weeks (No yelling yet!!). I wait past the time of my appointment and right before I went up to bite the receptionist's head off, I was called back.
The "nurse" weighed me by putting the scale to the most he thought I weighed then gave it taps equivalent to a line backer's tackle. He was able to check 100 lbs. with 3 taps which in my opinion, is not very accurate. Then he does the typical blood pressure check and asked what I've been taking for this "cold". My mom and I told him the basic stuff, Tylenol and Erythromycin. He gave my mom a look like "What did you say?" and if he would've said anything to that I would've had him for lunch. After that episode, he stuck me in the room, telling me where to sit as if I was 2. If you can't tell...he really pissed me off.
My doctor, Niki, came in shortly after that (which is good cause I was not wanting to wait a long time) and proceeded to do the basic exam, checking your throat, nose, and ears for any signs of inflammation and listening to my lungs, which rattle as breathe from the flem inside it.
After a few more minutes, she tells me "Well it sounds like your lungs are clear. It appears you have an upper respitory infection going on."
How genius. I mean....wow....call NASA, she is a bonified rocket scientist.
*takes a small breath so she doesn't cough more* Ok...I'm better...so she gives me exactly what I wanted to take, Zithromax. Then she hands me one of those damn nasal sprays and tells me to use it. I'm not going to because I have tried that brand before and it makes me sick.
-On to happier subjects-
I started my job at Taylor Farms on Tuesday. I'm liking it except I will have to work weekends at times and graveyard shifts to boot. I hope I don't get them this weekend.
I got Final Fantasy X-2 on Tuesday! ^_^ It's very interesting and hard. I had fun watching David play it last night as I laid down. I tried to help navigate him as it's back to the ABS (active battle system), meaning you have to be on your toes cause the enemy attacks as you figure out what you wanna do on your turn.
Well, I'm gonna lay back down for a few hours then get up and get ready for work. Talk to everyone soon.
