Well, as some may know, I did actually get the Acer Aspire AS5536-5883 Laptop Computer and it seems to be a pretty good computer for the $475 (plus tax, extended warrantee, and pre-rebate purchases.)

July 4th weekend was pretty uneventful.  With all of my friends either planning or actually going out for various parties and the likes, I pretty much stayed at home the whole weekend.
