DC Universe... a cosmic history
If you're a DC fan, or just a fan of "official bullshitting" to make sense of things that didn't need to be made sense of, head on over to "History of the DCU". A 10-part "story" that is meant to explain the current "timeline" of all of the multiverses, story-archs and what still effects the DC universe as they know it officially.
Ever wondered why in some Superman histories he was known to be super-powered as a kid, but in others he didn't make himself known until adulthood? Or the differences between JLA and JSA? What the hell is Earth One and Earth Two and what happened to Earth Three? Well, here ya go. Tah freaking da.
There are 10 chapters, and each one has about 4 pages. (just click on "next" until it takes you to some weird page, then go back and hit the "next week" button to go to the next chapter. There's 40 pages in all.) ... apparently this takes out out of the story-arc where Luthor's kid tries to create a new multiverse and is stopped, etc. etc., so I have no idea how long ago this actually was made.
Anyways, it was an interesting read for me and I thought I'd pass it on along.
