New Radio Aspirations...
Several moths have passed again since I last looked into it, I found a not-too-shabby system.
The Sony Model: CDXGT630UI
The other day I was murdering time with Matt and waiting for Phil to get back with us after eating and we headed into Best Buy. I decided to check out their car audio systems again and I found this system. Aside from it being one of the few USB systems there, I found it to be very functional, easy to navigate and pretty solid. I had my thumb drive with me and I was able to explore it with the system. Getting to actually explore the system is important to me because some of the systems are cluttered with crap and really aren't that impressive. But I liked this system.. clean and functional.
It seems odd that there are plenty of USB decks on the market, but most of them do not have a port on the front of the deck. Do you really want a wire hanging out somewhere instead?
Best Buy has it for $159 and installation for $50. I know I can get better prices online, so I'm not positive that I'll be buying it through Best Buy (of course, with coupons, deals and whatnot online or in-store, I might still look into it), but... we'll see. Right now I'm looking at it, but until I can gather up the money, it's still kind of a dream. *sighs*
