First Day Down
Well, Sunday I got home and fell asleep around 6ish, I guess. I was fighting a sore throat and building cold, so I tried to sleep through the day. Around 5'ish I got a call from Taki saying he'd found my phone and to call him back, but without his number, I figured I'd stop by on Monday. So I slept until 11pm, got up and chatted online and such until 2 and tried to sleep. I was awake most of the time until 6:30 when I got up and showered.
I stopped by Walgreens for some paper and supplies (including some gernola bars and Diet Coke!) and got to the workplace by 8am. I wanted to get in early to get as much time in on Corel Draw as I could, but this wasn't one of those days that Mike was in early, alas. So I sat outside filling out the application for a little bit in the morning sunshine (not so bad since it was cool out still). Anyways, Mike came out sometime after 8:30 and I got to work right away, learning about the new program.
Anyways, By the end of the day, I had two projects ready for approval (a rubber stamp for St. Mary's Parish and vectored an image for First Presbyterian Church to put on a folded note card).
At the end of the day, I felt like I'd kinda succeeded at learning stuff and making something decent and then went to Muskegon to get my cel phone. I chilled on the couch with Taki and Cookie for a few minutes and came home. I picked up some lunch-food and green peppers as we again had our steak tortilla wraps. (Strips of beef steak, green peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms, cellery, beef broth in a tortilla wrap. Add some Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese... yum!)
Anyways, Full day tomorrow... so I won't be up for long.
