(no subject)
Aside from not feeling too great, this was a very nice weekend. On Friday, Adam and I went house hunting. We saw two places. One was absolutely gorgeous and the realtor was awesome and we loved it. The other house was great, but the neighborhood sucked. We're going to keep looking, but we now know the type we want. I'm so excited. Afterwards, we went by the theatre to give Tiff her birthday present. I wish I could've gone Friday night to her party, but I felt like crap as the day went on. After the theatre, Adam and I went to Mel's. It was nice b/c she was sick, too. We were a pathetic bunch. We ended up playing Trivial Pursuit (DVD edition) and Adam and I beat them!!! If you know Mel, then you know how exciting this is. Afterwards, we went home and I crashed - Adam went to work.
The next morning, Adam picked me up and we had our last meal at Friday's for a while. Since we're considering buying a house and getting married and getting out of debt, we really need to watch our spending. It was us, Brandon, and O'Dell - it was very nice. :-) Brandon was all excited b/c he was on his way to see his new place, which I've heard is fabulous. I can't wait to see it... Afterwards, we went to Best Buy to get cell phones and a new service. The greatest thing happened while we were there. They said that since we were using Sprint and getting new phones and all that, we got $100 worth of free DVDs. We ended up getting I, Claudius, Three Amigos, Schindler's List, and Seven. I wish we'd gotten Lost Boys and Princess Bride, but that's ok. We're excited. We came home and Adam went to bed while I played with O'Dell and The Sims - the town we're making is amazing, people... That night, Craig and Lara came over and we all hung out and had a great time. O'Dell cooked and the meal was awesome! We played Mad Gab and Trivial Pursuit (DVD edition) and laughed and had a grand old time. I made some videos with my phone (IT HAS A CAMCORDER ON IT!!!) and those were pretty hysterical. I should erase the politically incorrect one that O'Dell and Craig made...
On Sunday, Adam and I went to the bookstore and bought a new cookbook, a financial guide, and a house buying book. We went home and he went to sleep while I picked out recipes for the next 2 weeks. I played more Sims w/ O'Dell and then we all went to Hearts rehearsal. It was good. We start blocking tonight. Speaking of tonight, Adam and I will be making fettuccine alfredo... After rehearsal, we went grocery shopping and got enough food to feed Africa.
Now it's Monday, which is the beginning of Adam's weekend and my week. It's been a good day, though. I feel better, work is light today, I get to sleep next to Adam the next few nights - life is good. :-)
