(no subject)
Here's a question. Why can people be so, so nice to your face - joke with you, say sweet things, call you old nicknames, act like it's the "good ole day" - and then just talk the shit behind your back?? Now, I've said my share of crap about people, but at least I'm not super friendly to their faces. I'm not mean, either. I'm polite - I'm appropriate. Sometimes I won't say anything at all. If they make a joke, I'll give it the polite laugh - that doesn't take any energy out of me. Will I ask how they're doing, what they're up to? Hell no. Why? Because I don't care. That's just how it is and that's fine. Also, anything I've said behind their back, I've said to their face (if we were actually friends at one point). Honesty isn't a problem with me. People can say that I'm burning bridges - no, I think I'm just pointing out what's there and commenting on it and people don't like that. Whatever. Anyway, I know of all the crap being said and my days of being nice to this particular person are over. I'm not going to play the polite game anymore. There's a whole secret agenda going on and it makes me sick. So, ah. I'm glad I got that out in the open.
What's going on this weekend? Well, it's Adam's first weekend without Patsy Cline. Woo-hoo!!!! After work, we're going to look at 2 different houses. That should be fun. Tonight, I think we're hanging out over at Melly's or going to Cat's Meow. It's Tiffany's birthday today and we definitely want to see her. However, plans kept getting pushed back w/ Melly and we can actually all hang out tonight. What will most likely happen is Adam will drop me off at Tiff's birthday party and I'll just find a ride home. That way he can see her, too. Tomorrow, I'm meeting w/ different women in this benefit to give them their music and all. Tomorrow night, O'Dell is cooking dinner for me, Adam, and Craig. That's going to be awesome. I love Craig - he's a very cool guy and I'm excited to hang out w/ him. I think we're just going to eat DAMN GOOD FOOD, drink a little wine or Smirnoff Twist, maybe watch Showgirls or play some other game, and work on our documentary in which Craig will be a guest star. Good times... :-)
I need to see Footloose soon. I think it's going to have to be a Sunday... Brandon, is Brooke in it on Sundays?
I'm going to be doing a show w/ Mikey soon. I know Tamara's in it, too. I'm really excited about that. I don't know many details about it, but it's w/ Mikey and that was honestly all I needed to hear to say yes.
