I loveee Taco Bell. My sister is probably the T.B. queen though. When she was taking medical assisting classes she went for lunch and dinner (which for her would be a mexican pizza, a burrito, a taco, and a drink each time) every day for 75 days straight.. I think I would've died. And she still only weighed 120lbs!
Ughhh ice cream comes up all foamy and cold, and the rice in your sinuses...is the WORST, because you constantly blow random pieces out for the next couple of hours :(
Mead always reminds me of American Gods. I love the way Gaiman describes the flavour - it's not supposed to be appealing, but I still find myself wanting to taste it. As a Scandinavian Studies major, I feel like I'm missing out on an important element of cultural history, if you will.
Shame about throwing it up though, especially with sushi
That's weird, I like the taste of mead, but I typically make sure to inhale a little bit of air into my mouth as I sip--it brings out the fruitiness and is much more enjoyable.
That said, over Thanksgiving weekend I had one glass of mead and I was tipsy as hell. That stuff will hit you like a dump truck.
Out if curiosity, where can you get mead? Or rather, how easily available is it where you live? (This question goes for the OP as well.) I live in Europe, and while we get drinks like glögg around this time of year, I've yet to see mead in any store around here. (Not that I've been actively looking for it.)
