    Yet another reason to wait for the Montevina chipset before buying your new MacBook: native HD support. A regular Intel CPU can decompress and play h.264 in Quicktime or VLC, but since h.264 is doing a lot of things under the hood this ends up being it's very processor-intensive which means it'll run hot and eat a lot of battery power.     waider has recently complained that a significant Apple Tax exists in Ireland when comparing Apple to Dell.
