boring bloglike stuff
next week I will be in a village called Yarm. it sounds confusedly named. anyway! it will be mostly job applications day and night, learning Java, trying to cook, scurrying to catch up with old promises, and MUD. I am going to die when I eventually stop having broadband BUT, that is not the point. I am going to get a job in London (with my sparkly new almost-degree) if it kills me. I will be stubborn, and assertive, and. stuff. oh who am I kidding :D;;;
bp, swyth, I am very very sorry. I slept through three alarms. but Shu WILL be up and about, 7AM next week, I swear (and more importantly I will not be half dead from packing). xD
also: wtf is up with Tenipuri merchandising. I can take YanaKiri on the beach (ANY DAY), but, boy band and pull-tab and can. the fuck? and, separate from this, I am starting to see the high points of Oshitari/Atobe. SO MUCH ANGST. :O
I have never seen a cuter or more distressed Kirihara in my life. I hope I don't. he angsts! alone! over lunch! and then later.
the grinning mask thing was way overdone though. I never thought his red eye mode was THAT directly connected to his fondness for destroying people - it was explained as a side effect of blood congestion when his heartbeat went beyond a certain limit, so I took it to mean that red eyes are something like an indication that, hello, his body is officially in Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat mode. (the way that the red light goes on when the oven is hot enough, etcetera.) and Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat mode is not hurting-people mode; it's just super-concentration, super-strong, super-fast mode. so it's not so much a split personality as it is an extension of himself. so. I'm kind of sad they had to explain it that way; it felt like they were trying really hard to make people like him better.
I don't see why he should stop going into red-eye mode, because it's not like he's being possessed or something. it's a medical condition. I would have said, well, before this he didn't quite realise that his opponents were people (and if you like, you can blame this on all the King of Fighters and Tekken he plays), and now he does, he'll still go into red-eye mode when he gets excited and his pulse doubles, he just won't aim for the knees of people. that he knows. xD;;; which means more socializing, I guess. I would love to see him play Akutsu one of these days. white lion versus demon kitty from hell.
also. SENGOKU. *_* I am in love (rakkii rakkii rrrov!) and have to scramble to dl that when it's out. I may not have DSL once the Sanadatobe Senbatsu Showdown comes around, though ;o;
man. Sundays are boring even when you are stacked busy moving stuff.
edit: Shu went fishing with two nice people! but he's so weak he couldn't carry the one or two small fish he caught. Lyass caught SWORDFISH. *flails*
