It's not so much that I outright dislike it as that I don't get it. What's the appeal? Where did it even come from?

We used Ohtori/Hiyoshi as an alternate pairing, just for the purpose of AU, and, well... they kind of... they're cute. ;;

A Host Club AU RP. She was the daughter of a yakuza boss; Echizen crossdressed to get away with seeing her, because her father wouldn't let boys around. Once he was found out, they escaped to America together and changed their names. ♥

Maybe in a very small way. I used to ship Yukimura/Kirihara and Inui/Yanagi much more than Yanagi/Kirihara, but now I think they've both taken a backseat. ... Well, maybe. ... No, I lied. ;;

They date briefly, then break up when Akaya realises that it was just a crush, much like his probable feelings for Yukimura/Sanada/Yanagi. He chases the Troika's heels until they graduate high school, then slowly falls out of touch with Sanada and Yukimura in turn. He and Yanagi drift even more gradually, until a chance encounter later on, which gets them back in contact, and they eventually move in together.
Marui goes on to realise that his bisexuality in junior high was pure experimentation, and winds up steadily seeing an adorable, sweet little thing late in high school. A few years after graduation, he asks her to marry him, and she gives him adorable, sweet roly-poly babies and helps him run his bakery. ♥
