I started filling this out in the hopes of drawing Kitemuse out a little more; he's been small and very slowly growing for some time now. I was definitely not expecting results like this.
CHARACTER PROFILE
Name: Kite Eishirou
Age: 14/15
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 68 kg
Birthdate: Undisclosed.
Hair: Black-violet, too much product. ♥

Birthplace: Miyako-jima, Okinawa.
Other facial features: Nose, ears, mouth. :D; Wears glasses.
Dress (style, colors): Almost business casual. ;; Often trades the slacks for something only slightly more stylish.
Description of bedroom: His bedroom is fairly neat; bed always made, not because he's pedantic, as he might lead you to believe, but because he enjoys the feeling of slipping between clean, cool white sheets, and the effect is lost when the bed's a mess. The computer desk is the centre of activity, and it shows - it's stacked with papers, books, CDs and whatever else has occupied his attentions in the last few days. The ceiling and walls, smooth and pure white, are undecorated, and a closed cabinet in one corner holds trophies, medals and ribbons. The carpet, which replaced hardwood floors some time ago, because Eishirou is neither a fan of socks nor rugs, is a medium muted blue, soft but not shag. The overhead light is bright, as is his desk lamp, but he generally doesn't use them, and leaves the window open instead; when it gets dark, it's dark, and the only light is from his computer screen.
Current occupation: Junior high school student.
Marital status: Single, not looking.
Favourite food: Gouya chanpuruu. You heard me.
Favourite colour: Dark blue, dark purple.
Favourite weather: Light cloud cover and enough wind to whip the water up a little.

Other friends: Kai Yuujirou, Hirakoba Rin, Chinen Hiroshi, Tanishi Kei, Aragaki, Shiranui.

Enemies and why: Everyone else, because he's inclined to believe that they operate the same way he does, which means they'll stab him in the back in half a second.
Family: Uncle (Watanabe Shoetsu), Nephew (Watanabe Yukisada, 3 years old).
Sense of humour: Subtle, complex, condescending. Sharp and cutting when provoked; sarcasm is a manner of aggression.
Temper: Slow to anger and even slower to forgive. He'll get competitive and aggressive, but rarely angry. If you can piss him off, though, rest assured that it's the last thing you'll ever do.
Basic nature: Wary and self-interested.
Kinsey rating: Somewhere between X and something else altogether - predominantly asexual, only incidentally heterosexual, more than incidentally homosexual.
Ambitions: To be recognised.
Educational background: Education through junior high thus far.

Habits: Prefers being barefoot, sleeps on his stomach, swaps out Okinawan for Tokyo-ben when around non-Okinawans.
Talents: Martial arts, tennis, bass guitar, sudoku.
Hobbies: See above. He doesn't do anything he isn't good at.
Entertainment of choice: Political studies and mind games.
PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH CHARACTER
What's one thing no one knows about you?
There are a lot of things no one knows about me, and we'll keep it that way.
What's one thing everyone assumes about you that isn't true?
Would you believe me if I said 'all of it?'
What's one thing you wish you could stop?
If there was anything, I've long since stopped it.
What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have?
Perform live.
What are you a sucker for?
I'm afraid nothing comes to mind.
What's your biggest pet peeve?
Ignorance and weakness are firmly tied, but seeing as how ignorance is a weakness, I could safely say the latter.
What can absolutely make your day, no matter what?
I don't think there's anything quite like that.
What's the worst part of your life right now?
The aftershock of our recent loss in the National Tournament as the only Okinawa representatives in in over two decades.
Do you have or want children?
No.
If/when you ever have children, what is one thing you absolutely want to teach them?
Machiavellianism and Social Dominance Orientation.
What was the worst advice your father ever gave you? The best?
Not applicable.
When did you feel you'd finally 'come of age?'
I don't believe it's happened yet.
How do you deal with depression, stress or sadness?
Not applicable.
How do you think of yourself?
Very carefully.
How do your friends think of you?
Ask them.
How do your enemies think of you?
Quite carefully, too, I should hope.
What is your biggest accomplishment to date?
Having brought Higa as far as the Nationals this tennis season.
What has been your most humbling experience to date?
National Tournament, Round 2, Singles 1.
What will it take for you to die happy?
I don't believe I'm in any position to answer that.
What would you rather be doing right now?
Nearly anything.
What have I learned here?
- He's open enough with me if I'm not prying, but he becomes elusive and closed-off as soon as I start asking questions.
- He's got a little hedonist in him, and a lot of Machiavellianist (gee).
- Not once during all of the interview portion did he hesitate before an answer; every answer he gave was quick and concise, however stupid and uninformative.
- He's very, very, very exclusive (another one from the case file marked 'duh'), to the point that he cannot find himself attracted to/tolerant of/interested in anyone who isn't within his 'inner circle;' the team.
- Contrariwise, he holds the team at a little bit of a distance as well, and doesn't let them as close as he could.
- On a similar note, there seem to be two levels of relationship with him: friend and enemy. If you're not his friend, you're his enemy. Period.
- He's obviously been influenced by Jen. ;;
- He won't even let me give him a birthday, because he doesn't want anyone doing anything stupid, like throwing a surprise party.
- Related: he hates surprises.
Originally, 'Description of bedroom' was four paragraphs long, the last three of which didn't have a lot to do with his bedroom so much as they were set in it.
He sleeps on his stomach, face turned toward the window, arms folded beneath his head. He doesn't use an alarm clock, but he usually wakes before the sun's quite up, and never leaves his bed until he can see the sunshine spilling over the roof of the house onto the west side of the lawn, outside his window. After that, he'll venture out of bed and into the small adjoining bathroom he has, and brush his teeth and fix his hair.
He never showers in the morning because he showers at night, when the day has seeped into him and worn him out, making his muscles ache and his skin itch. The water washes it away, unwinds him, and he steps out into the steam and the warm light made warmer by the peaches-and-cream wallpaper and tile. He blow-dries his hair, because he can't stand it wet against his pillow, and he does it naked because he can't stand his hair wet at all, really, and would like it to be dry as soon as possible.
He dresses in his bedroom, padding barefoot in and out of the rectangle of light on his carpet. Then he switches off the bathroom light, throwing both rooms into darkness, and waits in the doorway between them for his eyes to adjust. When he can make out the edges of his dresser and the swell of his pillow, he makes his way across the room and pulls back the blankets to slip between the crisp, clean sheets.
Suffice to say, I am thrilled. *Scurries off to unmade bed.*
