Today is a beautiful summer day.

The sun is shining, it's about 80 degrees out, and I'm sitting in my apartment taking notes on Gender Trouble.

In other news, I can now recognize the gender theory section of our school library by smell.

I'm going to be flying into nyc on June 29th, and staying for at least six weeks. If there's anyone around then who wants to see me, feel free - I could use the distraction.

B: Hello! What would you like?
A: um, I would like an apple pie.
B: An apple pie... will that be all?
A: No... I would also like a Sprite, please.
B: An apple pie and a sprite.
A: How much does that cost?
B: Um, that'll be six fifty.

Our LGBTQ resource center is sending a group to march in the Pride Parade, and wants me to walk with them. I don't think I particularly want to, and I already had tentative plans with negativedust to watch on the sidelines and laugh at the costumes, so I think i'm gonna turn them down... it's just that the entire idea of a special parade for gay people strikes ( Read more... )
