You know the weather forecast that it would only get to 102F today. But um the local weather is saying it is 108F out. I was wondering why my poor plants all look like they are cooking today. That is just... well it's hot. And I better remember to drink my fluids like a good girl.

I'm just discovering that dragging several cubic feet of dirt can leave a body sore. Yes I should have thought of that sooner. Not that it would have stopped me, but I should have thought.

I feel very accomplished and happy today. No particular reason - though I got good news on my prescription med coverage and YAY! for one less thing on my list.

Yes I did, one grape vine is in the ground. That was hard work. I'll get some pictures later - say tomorrow. I'll hopefully get the next vine in soon and back fill the entire area with pea gravel for a nice drainage sink ( Read more... )
