does it trouble your mind the way you trouble mine?

OH MY GOD THIS EPISODE WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN LAST WEEK'S

OLIVIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

AKJGHDLGJSGSJG

Even though ideally i want even MORE focus on the Olivias getting to know each other, this had exactly the kind of emphasis on identity and choice and mirroring that i was hoping we would get out of the universes being joined. Plus, after the Olivia/Altlivia picspam that i made in an attempt to visualize their potential lesbian doppelganger awesomeness, i can't even tell you how happy it makes me to see both of them in the same shots, interacting for extended periods of time. AKUGKHSDFJHFG

I'M SO HAPPY WE GOT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT STUFF, LIKE THE FACT THAT ALTERNA-BROYLES IS ALIVE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Altlivia is still with Frank so NO ALTLIVIA/LINCOLN EVER. ;______; fffffuuuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkk Peter's non-existence stunted the growth of a totally unrelated ship. RUDE. And Charlie married the bug girl! (EXCEPT I STILL ONLY WANT TO LIVE IN THE UNIVERSE WHERE OLIVIA AND CHARLIE ARE TOGETHER >:( p.s. i miiiiisssss hiiiiim. and oh jeez i mentioned in my last post that i was thinking about a connection between Prime Suspect and Fringe just because seeing Kirk Acevedo as a law enforcement agent teamed up with a badass blonde lady makes me miss Charlie the MOST, and now there are parallels between this week's episodes of both shows in that the way this case resolved itself was WAY SIMILAR, i.e. a dude suddenly shooting himself in the head as our heroine tries to reason with him. so that clinches it, Prime Suspect is secretly a Fringe AU.)

OLIVIA AND ASTRID BEING FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They finally get to interact with each other now that Peter is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Walter called Lincoln the wrong name so YAY it's not just Astrid anymore YAAAYYYY. (maybe this means it won't be Astrid at all! maybe now he'll only ever get Lincoln's name wrong! I HOPE HE CALLS HIM ALL DEAD PRESIDENTS.)

I know we have to get Peter back at some point but i want it to stay like this forever. ;______; I do like the traces of him left behind though, and even though it was heavy-handed i really liked the end note of remembering a person in ways other than the literal, neurological memory of them. The casefile-with-larger-thematic-connections is something this show has gotten really good at, and the way this was done reminded me of the first half of s3, i.e. the good half.

SO HAPPY THE PREMIERE WAS JUST A ROCKY START, SO HAPPY ABOUT ALTERNATE UNIVERSES AND CHARACTER DOUBLES, SO HAPPPYYYYYY
