SO DISAPPOINTED IN BENJI FOR SHIPPING KIRK/UHURA

And then i started thinking about the ways in which he is wrong, and then i was like, there are even some vague similarities between AOS Spock/Uhura and Leslie/Ben! i.e. the dude is technically the lady's superior and the lady's success could look like favoritism but really it's just that she's the best at her job and also they're both huge nerds. WHY WOULDN'T BEN SHIP THAT

I had been wondering what the hell is up with Rob Lowe's hair this season, and supposedly it's for a movie or whatever but like, you're seriously telling me they couldn't style it differently AT ALL? A comb and some hair gel is just too much? It doesn't look remotely appropriate for Chris's character, and in fact looks like sitcom shorthand for frazzled/just woke up/hungover. GODDAMMIT ROB LOWE. I used to like Chris but now he is just too much unfunny awkwardness. :/

APRIL AND RON AND ANNNNN

BURT MACKLIN LIVES! I love that Andy kept Burt Macklin continuity and brought him back from the dead. That is amazing. Everything about Andy is amazing. I love him as Leslie's assistant SO MUCH. I LOVE EVERYBODY SO MUCH. Except Rob Lowe.

Fringe

Okay, forget what i said about Blueverse Lincoln being sorta boring, i love him. And he had, what, like three lines this episode? But oh man it was all worth it for "you look a little freaked out... wanna talk about it?" That was some Redverse-level teasing. LOVE IIIITTTT.

Also Lincoln and Olivia both wearing glasses at the same time. oh god adorableness, oh god. HOW DO I HAVE SO MANY MORE FEELINGS ABOUT THE TWO OF THEM THAN I HAVE EVER, EVER HAD ABOUT OLIVIA/PETER???? FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Although the wacky thing is that i have no idea which permutation of them to ship. Or if i am even technically supposed to ship any of them??? Because of course i ship Altlivia/Redverse Lincoln. But now there's Olivia/Blueverse Lincoln and THEIR FACES. I guess they had that Astrid and Olivia conversation and brought up how he's "not her type" in order to dismiss it as a romantic possibility? Except... all that did for me was... confirm it as a romantic possibility.......... And then last week i was into Olivia/Redverse Lincoln because their ~true loves~ are unavailable/non-existent. I JUST WANT ONE VERSION OF THEM TO PUT THEIR FACES TOGETHER ;_____;

and if nothing ever happens between them i'm going to go drown myself in the Olivia/Charlie pool from whence i came

;_________________;

The end of this episode freaked me the hell out because they were playing it like Olivia was going to find Walter after he had already lobotomized himself. AGGGHHHHH NOOOOOOO. As much as i don't miss Peter at all, Walter is so so sad and lost without him, and that is wretched. :( ...But i still don't want Peter back this soon. :/

Breaking Bad

FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

HEART RACING FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR: SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION? NOPE IT'S JUST BREAKING BAD

weeping from exhaustion

laughing maniacally like Walt in a crawlspace

Last week when the internet was conspiracy theorizing about Walt poisoning Brock, i was half buying it because the gun pointing at the flower and the flower being Lily of the Valley was a major "HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT" detail and i didn't put it past them to do something like that. And we know Walt has to go full evil, and what better way to do it than by poisoning a kid that Jesse loves? But on the other hand, between his utterly convincing act with Jesse, and wondering how the hell he could have even left the house, let alone known enough about who Brock was or where he lived (...although he did bug Jesse's car... IMPORTANT!), and Gus seeming like he knew what Jesse was talking about re: the poisoning, and Gus having enough tabs kept on Jesse to be able to do something like that... it all just seemed a lot more likely that Gus was the one to do it. But by the time it got to the end of this episode and everything seemed to be going great, my stomach dropped and i knew what was coming. That final long shot of the Lily of the Valley was so great, as it just silently and innocuously let Walt's evilness sink in. UUUUGGHGHGHHSGKJSHFKHSGFSJF

I can't see the series ending any other way than with Jesse killing Walt. It's just too poetic for Walt to have created his own murderer. The way everything has slowly and deliberately built in that direction, the way Jesse deserves to pay back all the wrongs that have been done to him that he isn't even aware of yet... i can't wait to see it all come crashing down, and for all the pain Walt has wrought to come back and fuck him over. Because it so obviously will. Nothing ever just goes away.

GUS ;______________; The music as he walked through the nursing home parking lot was so excellent and that sequence seemed like such a goodbye to him, i was preparing myself for him to be shot in the head right then and there. But i spent the whole episode bracing myself for blood splattering everywhere at any moment. I did think him walking out of the room with half of his face blown off was pretty over the top; like i know they had to do something epic for Gus's death, but that was too much, it seemed goofy. He would have been blown to bits.

Jesse and Walt burning the lab was so triumphant though! Not even sad like when they destroyed the RV! It was just like "YESSS, THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT" which almost never happens (and even when it seems like it does, it doesn't really). But as soon as it was over, it brought us back to arguably the scariest reality yet: Walt's in charge. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK NOOOOOOOOOOO

I do worry about losing some of the scale of the Gus vs. Cartel war. There were so many Serious Players doing Serious Shit before, and now... it's just Walt the bumbling idiot. I DUNNO. Obviously he's capable of being a scary motherfucker, and especially with this season of powerlessness behind him he's going to start believing he's God, but the reality of him taking over a huge drug trafficking network... i don't know. He's never been good at the business side of things. He's not as careful as Gus, he's sloppy, which is why Gus didn't even want to work with him in the first place. THIS IS ALL JUST BAD NEWS BEARS.

Really crossing my fingers for a Skyler-Jesse-Hank Superteam of Righteousness. You know... somehow. ...In my imagination.

MIKE HAS GOT SOME SURPRISES WAITING FOR HIM WHEN HE GETS BACK FROM MEXICO. D:
