"I am not your son." HO SHIT
Everything at the bridge was fucking awesome, with the missing piece shimmering on over and a dude goddamn disintegrating and Peter seeing it all and UNDERSTANDING. The way it all played out was really rad. And Olivia stone-cold shooting that first shapeshifter in the head was A++++++++++++++ OLIVIAAAAAA SHOOTIN' DUDES
"Mr. Secretary" is obviously Other Walter, I MEAN, RIGHT, i don't see it being anybody else at this point. The silhouette inside the mask even looked like his nose. Anyway it's always been apparent (from, you know, logic) that Other Walter is behind the whole assault from the parallel world because his friggin son got stolen, WHICH IS AWESOME. So i really am excited for that reveal to finally happen at some point (hopefully soon, i keep expecting it to be soon!), because even though it won't be surprising it will still be great?! And Peter has to choose between My Two Dads? But he'll reject both and will instead choose Olivia because her childhood got fucked over tooooo and they are the saaaame and they will spend the rest of their days jumping between worlds and fighting injustice and riding armored polar bears, i mean, what.
So pretty much since Olivia found out about Peter i am feeling like the show is finally back in a solid groove on a par with the end of season one. I loved last week's episode A LOT because TIME TRAVEL! At first i thought it was going to be a Groundhog Day/X-Files' Monday type episode, but it wasn't really. Even aside from the fact that time travel is practically a guaranteed way to make me happy, it was very nicely done and i love that ultimately the case never happened so the events of almost the entire episode don't even EXIST (as always with these types of stories, but the ending made it particularly poignant), and it was goddamn Robocop being a robo-time-traveler (TIMECOP), and the mutual respect and tortured genius bonding between him and Walter was quite enjoyable. Basically it was neat.
