Aside from that bit of cold that I think pretty much everyone got a touch of--which is the trouble of living in close quarters, and it's been rather funny watching everyone steaming from the ears--it's been just a brilliant week. I was so excited about the ball that I completely forgot to be nervous about the Transfiguration exam, and got full marks from Professor McGonagall for the first time ever, I think. And she said "Good job, Longbottom." Also for the first time.
And my plants are doing very well. I've set up some cross-pollination on some of the flowers that I think is going to get them smelling the way I want (and possibly as a side benefit make them quite good in headache teas) and Professor Sprout is giving me extra credit for them. Also they look quite nice. And changing the shape and color of the flowers is actually the easiest bit, so if anyone is looking for unique flowers I think I can probably provide them. To order, even, as long as I'm warned a week or so in advance.
I think, just now, there isn't a whole lot I'd change about my life. And that's a good feeling.
