I've been pretty busy lately, so I haven't updated this as often as I should've. I think Professor Willis has been sick, or something, though--maybe she got all of our colds put together?
Anyway, I've been spending a lot of my free time playing Exploding Snap and Gobstones and things with Ginny and Colin, and tending my flower-beds; I've got plenty of flowers in all sorts of colors now, But they mostly take care of themselves now I'm done getting them to grow right, so I've been spending most of the time with my friends.
It's really nice to have some good friends to spend time with just for the sake of spending time. Not really something I'm used to., but I like it. And I think it's been good for Colin. I'm not very good at Exploding Snap to start with, and I'm afraid I've been hamming it up a little when I lose, to make he and Ginny laugh. Nothing on par with Canary Creams, but I do what I can.
Sometimes I wish I were good at something flashier than Herbology, though. I mean, flowers are lovely, and very interesting, but they're not much good when there's Dark Wizards and traitors and killers walking around. You need somebody like my dad for these kind of times, and I'm not him. I just want to do something, something important, and I don't know how.
