Excellent week, this.

Aside from that bit of cold that I think pretty much everyone got a touch of--which is the trouble of living in close quarters, and it's been rather funny watching everyone steaming from the ears--it's been just a brilliant week. I was so excited about the ball that I completely forgot to be nervous about the Transfiguration exam, and got full ( Read more... )

That's great Neville. Sounds like things are really going your way.

I would love some flowers for Hannah, but I want to see what color she's wearing before I order them. Just thought I'd let you know in advance, before you got too busy! I'm sure they'll be very popular.

Oh, I hope so. It's a nice thing I can do for my friends. You and Hannah are now on the list right after Ginny.

And Hannah told me about colors, so don't worry there. :)

I feel like I'm running around apologizing to everyone for spreading the cold around (though really, I think I caught it from Terrence Watkins and Margo Hellerman, who were sneezing all around the Hufflepuff common room, so you can really blame them). Congratulations on your Transfiguration exam! I did pretty well myself, though I don't think quite as well as you did. Great job!

I would *love* to see the flowers you are working on sometime. They sound beautiful. And if Harry orders me some for the ball, steer him toward yellow or pink and he should be fine. ;)

Oh, I didn't get it very badly, don't worry. One dose of Pepperup and plenty of tissue and I was all right the next day. And Professor McGonagall said today that she'll be expecting a higher standard of work from me in future, so the exam was kind of a mixed blessing after all--but I don't mind trying to live up to her expectations, because she's always fair about them.

Your color choices are noted, and pink and yellow are easy. The variety I've got right now, that I've been working on most of this year, looks like this; it's a winter flower, hardy enough to bloom right through snowbanks and survive even covered in ice--and they will, too, I've had a box of them in the big kitchen freezers for a week and they're doing fine. Smells very nice, too, a bit like cinnamon and lilacs now that I've finished. If everything breeds true through a few generations Professor Sprout says I'm practically guaranteed the best Herbology mark in the year, which I'm not sure is quite fair since it's just a hobby ( ... )

Neville, they are beautiful! Oh, the Great Hall is going to smell so great if everyone is wearing your flowers... cinnamon and lilac, yum!

Oh, remember you wanted to check out inactive RPers by OOC email? Here's Ginny's: slytherin_chix@yahoo.com. Her OOC journal is midnight_lover. Ron's OOC journal is bohemianvixen so you can probably find his player's contact info there too. Hope that helped.
