To say Mars was excited to see her friend was an understatement. She somehow found renewed energy after her shift aboard the bridge and now found herself starving. She had agreed to meet up with Liz for dinner so they could catch up on things and Mars wanted details of the wedding and shore leave! Despite dealing with her own family crisis, she was sad to have missed the news and the fun the crew must've had while frolicking down the sandy beaches.
