Christmas is officially here
I played 'Santa' for my family today at noon. It's a tradition that every year I hand out the gifts. I surprised my parents with a beautiful, fiber optic angel display and a large tin of multi-flavored popcorn. I got mostly gift certificates to my favorite stores, but a few things I really wanted were given to me by my mom. She gave me the Nickelback album I wanted, as well as, a gorgeous set of Velore jump suits in deep lavendar and red. Whee! Cool new clothes!
So once the presents had all been opened, we sat and watched "A Christmas Story" on TBS. My brother, Paul, and I love snarking during the movie. We both know bits and pieces of the dialogue, and there's just nothing more entertaining than sitting around, laughing your ass off, enjoying each other's company. I love this time of the year. ;)
Shawn came over last night. He presented me with three gifts: a snuggle-y, royal blue Chenille throw, a pretty icicle ornament, and best of all, an Amethyst ring with diamonds on either side of the stone. Gotta give him credit; he knows what I like. Hee!
Anyway, I hope everyone's day goes equally as good as my own. :)
