It's a Winter Wonderland
I sat by the window in my parents' kitchen and watched it snow until 1:30 this morning. I had to eventually go to bed, because I kept nodding off. lol
Today, I'm just gonna drink hot chocolate and vegetate. I took several pictures of the snow, but I'll wait until Shawn gets here tomorrow to snap a few more. (He's Mr. Digital Camera. With the ones he takes, I can upload them to my site for everyone to view.)The sun peeks out every now and then, and the way it shines on ice-covered trees is so magical.
However, I'm basically stranded at my parents' through Christmas. My car is frozen solid--there's a thick sheet of ice covering it, in addition to the snow fall. The secondary roads, which are the ones I use to get back to my apartment are slick and dangerous. No driving for me until at least Sunday or Monday.
By the way...thank you, FG. I loved my greeting card from you and "the gang". *hugs*
Time for lunch. I think I'll warm up some soup. Later, y'all! :)
