Bye Bye Bye one hundred degree weather and welcome to all of my lonely jackets. I love my jackets. I love jacket weather.
I put out most of my fall decorations today. I know just a little late. In October I shall put out the Halloween ones. I got these cool orange flickering lights for the outside garage door lights. They look really cool on the box. :)
Today I was suppose to work, but the units' census was low so I got low worked. I have mixed feelings about that because I worked an extra day on Thursday so I would have overtime and now I will have to take some PTO time. :( That being said: I enjoyed the day off. It was a beautiful overcast fall day with intermittent rain showers. I was able to relax and in between showers walk Punkin in the park. I also bought season 6 of Supernatural today.
Thanks to the Borders closing here in town I was able to buy a collection of John Steinbecks short novels for a cheap price. I am looking forward to reading them.
In sad news my dad's dog of 11 years died on Thursday. She was a beagle named Peaches. My poor dad loved that dog and she has been great company for him since my mom passed away. I know he is sad and a bit lonely. I told him that after time if he decides he would want another one that I would take him to the Humane Society so that he could get another one.
