at this LJ thing anymore. I get distracted easily by slash fic reading that I forget to post on here. That old saying that my mother was very fond of saying keeps going through my head ..."to get friends you have to be a friend". So I am going to try harder at leaving feedback and posting.
I KNOW I KNOW...I have said it before...lets see if I follow through huh.
How are you? I went for a quick weekend trip with a great friend to KC and Topeka. In KC we walked around played tourist and shopped at the JC Penney outlet. That place is fabulous. My friend loves it because they have a dedicated Talls section. She was able to get 3 pairs of pants that fit her legs. They were 5 bucks a piece. What a bargain. I bought some bras. They were on sale 2 for 5 dollars. Awesome. OH We also went to see Shark Night 3D....yes you read that right. It was so umm stupid/silly, but the 3D stuff had me jumping and screaming a couple of times. No lie!.
For my fellow SPN friends, guess who is the male lead in the show....duh duh duh...the dude that plays Corbet in the original epsiode of "ghostfacers". I kept thinking of him and his "man love for Ed". Over all it was a good time. My friend is so funny she said we should keep our glasses so we would have our own pair for the next 3D movie we see. So we did.
In Topeka we stayed at the casino because my friend had a free night. I only lost 50.00. Not bad. Had a great time sitting out by the hot tub, chatting with strangers and met this cool guy named Kurt. He was supper friendly and might I add a nice piece of eye candy. He is moving to california in 2 weeks...is it hirmosa beach or mirmosa..I couldn't tell by the way he was saying it. Anyway I drank 1 can of beer because I am easy like that. I mean I mentioned he was good eye candy so I was weak and didn't say no. (normally I stick to whiskey or vodka)
Now I am home and going to be going to work soon. I am hoping to pick up some extra hours at work to pay for my upcoming trip to the Balloon fest in New Mexico. I am told that it is quite beautiful in New Mexico. I am looking forward to it.
So trying to patiently wait for Supernatural to restart in a couple of weeks. I am very much looking forward to see what happens with Sam this season.
Toodles...
