Ok, I couldn't resist posting about the Carter segment of the Egypt docudrama. It wasn't as rage-inducingly god-awful as the Belzoni segment, but it was deeply hilarious in its own way.

I recently got back from the 58th Annual Meeting of the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE), which was held in Toledo this year. My friends and I had many zany adventures, and kantayra has written up a hilarious summary of her time at the conference in her journal.
