Congratulations to TiVo on the TiVo HD winning both the Readers' Choice and Editors' Choice as the Home Entertainment Device of the Year in the the 2007 Engadget Awards!

As I reported earlier, TiVo is ending the TiVo Rewards program. I first signed up for TiVo Rewards in November, 2004, but I didn't really make a big deal out of it. I didn't yet have the site. Voting is now running for the 2007 Engadget Awards, and the TiVo HD and Slingbox SOLO are both in the running for Home Entertainment Device of the Year. As much as I love the Slingbox, I think I have to side with the TiVo HD in this case. Go over and vote.

Vote in the 2006 Engadget Awards for Home Entertainment Device of the Year. The TiVo Series3 is one of the products in the running. I admit I was a little bit torn - the Slingbox Pro is also in the running, and I really like both. But I did vote for the Series3.
