Back from London
I'm back at home and back at work, trying to catch up with my flist. It's slow going, so if you have anything you'd like to pimp at me, please do so in the comments!
It's much greener here than it was a week ago, but it's also frigging cold! I don't approve of that. *sulks*
London was lots of fun and excitement and very little sleep. I met up with lakadyn, and we walked around, shopped, hung out at Harrods and talked. A lot. :-) It was also great to meet Vic for the first time *waves*. Then there was the "Not Fade Away" convention, which was even better than I expected. And then I went and took over helenraven's place, and we watched 9 (?) eps of US Queer As Folk season 3, and I'd totally forgotten how good that show is (and how much yummy nekkidness there is on screen). I miss all you ladies already!
I'm planning to write about the Kane gigs and NFA, but that might take me a while. I'm still lazy and slow. lakadyn weren't you planning on doing a post on the Enterprise gig, too? I was hoping to handle that one by posting a few comments and a lot of "what she said." :-)
I ended up seeing the Kane acoustic set three times in five days, and that's not even my all time record for seeing one band (I think that's five times in five days or maybe just four times in five days - it was a long time ago and my memory's spotty). And I bought another (not Kane) country music CD, but there were mitigating circumstances. Really.
I had trouble finding clothing items I really, really needed, but I did get a bunch of new clothes. Of course it's too cold here to wear any of them. *sulks again*
