SPN: Devil's Trap
Bullet points, because otherwise, it's no go for this brain:
- Dean saying "Dad's not dead" over and over again could've easily broken me if I hadn't been too distracted with "what's happening next?"
- Another old friend of John's helping the boys out, cool!
- Trapping Meg was so clever! I was thinking "how are they going to lure any demon to that circle?" and hey, it's on the ceiling! It totally makes sense, except has anyone done that before?
- Meg is dead! Yeah!
- Writers trying to redeem Meg in the end was stupid. We don't hate her because the character was evil, we hate Meg because the actress is crap. Meg is DEAD, hurray!
- The demons guarding John / coming after them all didn't seem to put up much of a fight. I was wondering if that was plot or just bad execution. Luckily it was plot.
- Dean suspecting John - so much Jenny love...
- Dean killed the Demon's children - go Dean! Okay, Sam helped with Meg, points to Sam, too.
- Sam siding with Dean when there's a possibility John might be possessed. It couldn't play any other way, yet I loved to see that.
- JDM does a great demon.
- The boys taking turns in taking the lead and listening to each other all through the ep was beautiful.
- We still don't know why the Demon is after kids with special abilities.
- Are we to infer that the Demon killed Jess because chances were she and Sam would've had a child with the same (or better) abilities as Sam?
- We all knew there was going to be a cliff-hanger because Kripke told us so in advance. This one wasn't even a hallucination in any of my speculations.
I can't wait to see the Prison Break season finale. I predict it's going to be a close race on who drives me up the wall most.
