Just a quick post to say we're ok. A little water in the basement, part of the wooden fence in the back ripped off the wire fence behind it but other than that we're good. Do you realize how rare it is for NYC public schools to declare a snow day? I don't REMEMBER the last time the schools got a snow day, seriously. The mere possibility of the city declaring a snow day made the news as much as the actual storm/ northeaster did.  So we are in the middle of a heat wave here, 2nd day of 90+ weather which supposedly peaks tomorrow then we'll be in the 80's on Wednesday. It's a little after 10PM and there is thunder and lightning and more importantly, rain out there. Did that make things cooler, NIEN.
