(no subject)
Just a quick post to say we're ok. A little water in the basement, part of the wooden fence in the back ripped off the wire fence behind it but other than that we're good. I haven't gone out so not sure what trees in the neighborhood went down. I'm just glad the big tree in my neighbor's yard (it's right next to the fence at the back of our yard is ok and no branches came down (which would have taken down all the telephone/etc wires). Also glad that the tree in front of my next door nghbor's house just shed a lot of leaves but otherwise is fine. We didn't lose power thankfully. My only concern now is how the subways will be running tomorrow morning.
