So my Mom and Stacy just got back from the JoBros thing. They started out on the wrong side of the street then went over to the other side and the boys didn't come out til about 8:30. Ok, so my mother has a half fare metrocard (used on the NYC transit system -buses/subway). Now the way this works is once the amount on the card goes below $10, the MTA will automatically add a set amount from the credit/debit card you have on file when you applied. She just applied about a month ago so she got her first "statement" a few days ago ( Read more... )

My mother is semi retired and works 2x a week as an ER nurse. The hospital she works at because of it's location, caters to the large Orthodox (Hasidic mainly) Jewish community in the area.

 We took my mother to the airport last night. She had a 12:30AM flight to the Philippines. My mother does not do well on flights. She can't hold anything down, and basically subsists on tea and the occasional saltine  because anything else will not stay in her stomach. Now this would not be a problem on shorter flights.
