[#092] What be Uppppp~
I am exhausted, as per usual. And it's a work morning! Which means, I am going to be lazy all day and hope that I don't have any real work to do.
i. Dan/Blair Fanvid: What Are You Waiting For?
I have been obsessed with this fanvid ever since I watched it like two days ago. Not only is the song awesome, but I love how many SCENES this person used of Dan/Blair. I will freely admit here that I've watched a total of one episode of Gossip Girl, but because of Cyn, I am a huge Dan/Blair Shipper and I blame this on watching clips of all their scenes from the past 4 years, especially all the season 4 clips because that's where their relationship really starts to move from frenemies to actually being friends (omg, whattttt?). And also this season where the writers are really cementing the fact that Dan/Blair could be really amazing friends with please more, but not just yet because she is having too many boy problems anyway. AND YES, I GET THIS ALL FROM JUST WIKI/TUMBLR/LJ AND WHATEVER. Without having to watch the show. I am made of win. XDDDDD and don't need context tyvm.
ii. Warehouse 13: Tell me someone else is watching this!!! Because I am in dire need to talk to someone about the finale. and if you're not watching, one day i will make a picspam pimping this show out because it DESERVES ALL VIEWERS. Guys, the writing on this show is amazing. I haven't seen a show that takes as many chances with their characters as this one does--KILLING OFF FAVORITES LIKE NOBODY'S BUSINESS. This finale killed of 3 of the characters and one of them (well, I love all three, but...) being H.G.Wells who I know is a huge fandom favorite (mainly because everyone ships her with Myka--which I can see, lol especially in that finale). But really!!! The biggest blow to me was actually Jinks because I love him and Aaron Ashmore and his friendship with Claudia because they were so BFFs, and I didn't really ship that (especially since his character was gay lol), but OMG, THEY WERE FABULOUS FRIENDS. And Claudia's reaction to that was just heart-wrenching and made you want to cry, because she wasn't crying. She was just angry and annoyed and all sorts of hurt. Allison Scagliotti was just pitch-perfect in this finale. Like, I underestimated just how good she is as an actress because seeing her rebel against both Jane and then Mrs. Frederick? I just... Wow. Blew my mind. And, I don't know. The whole finale was just mind-blowing and seeing how we moved from place to place. The villain wasn't anybody normal--he had contingency plan after contingency plan and seeing them actually lose was, quite frankly, a huge surprise, but you know what? That happens. The good guys don't always win. They lose--and have major casualties along the way.
I have so much more I could say, but THAT'S THE BULK OF IT. IT WAS A GREAT FINALE AND I CANNOT BELIEVE I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT SUMMER FOR THE NEXT SEASON. Damn you, summer shows!!!!!
iii. I once again didn't really have a 3rd point but then arama had this post about Okada's sexy date on AnAn (and no, nothing dirty). What's funny is that I see these pictures and I am only reminded of that Gakkou e Ikou episode where Sakamoto took a photography club and pictured Okada's day. These shots LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THOSE. lol except with Sakamoto looking like an awesome mofo at the end with his huge rifle. XD
P.S. I got retweeted by Eric Colsen yesterday!!! All because I was talking about NCIS:LA and how amused I was by Deeks/Sam's partnership. lololol #claimtofame as I called it~ lololol My amusement, it is high~
