[#091] I'm Calm, I Swear.
i. After yesterday's rant, I feel a little better. I hope they get shit seats at the concert is all I'm saying. >.>
Last Friday was C's birthday~ We celebrated by her going skydiving (again) and then going to this rooftop club/lounge/bar place named Penthouse 808. It was a GORGEOUS view. Too bad 1) it was raining and 2) the DJ sucked balls. lol But whatever, fun night regardless. :D
I has work today. And then this work dinner that I have to well... work at. lol I am taking attendance! lol Before that, I have to go research downtown at a different Jewish institute. Blah. So lazy to leave, but it's my own fault. I should've gone last Wednesday, but I was too lazy for that shit too. XD
ii. I HAVE NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT REALLY. I have wanted to talk about this for a very long time though: musical episodes! And I mean those eps in shows where everyone sings for no reason (no, not Glee). Buffy had one, Scrubs had one, HIMYM had one (even though that was a bit of a cop out) and even 7th Heaven had one! (7th Heaven's musical ep was hands-down the worst musical ep I'd ever seen. XD) But last year, Grey's Anatomy had one and I totally picked it up to see how it was. Now, even though I have no idea the storyline now or where this show has gone or who most of these characters are, IT WAS FUCKING FABULOUS. One of the big reasons why it was so good was they really took advantage of the fact that Sara Ramirez was on their damn show. Which, good for them. *________________*
My favorite song of the entire episode is The Story.
Also, really good was Running on Sunshine!
AND I LOVED THEIR RENDITION OF CHASING CARS. (I never realized Owen/Bailey could sing so well! i didn't even know who Owen was until I watched this ep. lol)
There were other songs too, but those were my favorite for sure. Also, ofc they sang How to Save a Life, but that cover wasn't very good imo. XD It was the only time Meredith had more than a line to sing though lol.
I've been wanting to pimp this episode like nobody's business for a while. I have the soundtrack on my iPod and have been looping it for the past few days. It's so good! ♥♥
