Huzzah!
Today was uh-mazing!
First, we had a staff meeting first thing at work this morning... but it turned into a surprise birthday thing for me! With donuts! I was given a card, and each person took a turn in saying what they appreciate most about me. This part was pretty entertaining, seeing as how I've only known all but one of them for about one week! It was exceptional.
To make things even better, I got my first pay check today, which was much needed and much appreciated!
Then, Brian and Michele took me out to dinner at Barnelli's, my new favorite Italian restaurant here (so far). So that made me very happy, because it was very delicious.
And then, I came home to a surprise party waiting for me!!! Members of the church and church staff were there. It was SO nice!
I am so beyond grateful for this day. I woke up in a pretty hectic manner, what with my phone (with alarm) dying in the middle of the night, hurriedly getting ready, and rushing out of the house off to work. (I wasn't late!)
It was just such a wonderful day, and I did not expect it to be SO wonderful! God is GOOD!!!
