Jam!
Chicago is treating me well. I've been here for exactly one week. It still doesn't feel like I live here. I was out with my best bud the other night, and I had to keep reminding myself, out loud, "I LIVE here now." It's hard to grasp because my family is not here with me. Right now, it still feels like I'm just visiting. I don't have my own place yet, so I don't feel settled.
I started working at the church yesterday. It was cool! I have to work with a Mac there, so it's a little strange, since I am so used to a PC. Everyone at the church is SO nice. Like, really, really nice! Probably about 12 people stopped me on Sunday to ask if I was the new girl from Florida. How do they knoooow?! Crazy!
It's fun to meet people that you just click with immediately. That happened a couple of times at church, so that helps. :)
I applied at Teavana, which is the coolest store ever, I think. The mall here is RIDICULOUS. So big, and I got very overwhelmed walking around there!
Now all I need is to find an apartment! Huzzah!
