It's been a good summer so far.

Yesterday was almost perfect. It was sunny and warm out (nice change from the week of cold rain we've had) so me and Jill took a picnic basket (literally), blanket, and Scampi to the river for lunch. I've been telling people to read The Golden Compass since maybe grade 11, when Taryn first introduced me to the trilogy...I'm actually on my third go-round reading it again. Woo, yesterday work called me to say I had today off after all =) (not that I've done much, but sometimes it's good to just do nothing!)
