Dewey's Read-a-thon
Thanks to kiwiria's very kind reminder (thanks, sweetie!), I'd like to take this moment to announce that on Oct. 17th-18th I'll be participating in Dewey's Readathon, for the first time ever!
I am super excited to finally take the plunge, as I've followed along with kiwiria's readathon adventures quite a few times by now, and always felt sorely tempted, but at the same time riddled with self-doubt that I'd actually be able to follow through. (I'm not so great with commitment. And concentration.) But I've been psyching myself up for this for quite some time, and this is something I'm doing 100% for myself because I want to, so really, there's nothing to be stressing out about.
But, fair warning, my posting may be heavy (or not, I've never done this before) on those days as I keep track of my reading (or not, I guess we'll see).
I've invited my friend/niece Michelle, who also loves to read, and we'll brave this thing together, and keeping each other accountable, at least. :)
If any of you guys have the time and/or desire to read along with us, that would be awesome! All details are in the link.
