Yeah so what went on this week... I had lunch with Jenn, and dinner with elizabeth and silvy, which was fun. I miss them :)
How did I forget the outcome of the election. I wrote the rest of this LJ and then remembered. It's such a downer, it kills me that he won. What he does is not humanitarian, so how is it that "religious" people claim to side with him? THE LAST TIME I CHECKED, KILLING PEOPLE WAS A SIN. Is that still the case? Let me go check my bible.
So much anger here. I fear that his reelection has opened the country up to more terrorist attacks- they are coming.. but I figured at least if we had a new leader, then maybe in the world view we could gain some respect. "We" (collective we as americans which I am not proud to be) look like idiots. We reelected two war mongering greedy bastards who are in Iraq for no reason.
If you voted for Bush, go enlist.
And ABORTION? HELLO HAVING THE OPTION OF CHOICE MEANS THAT YOU CAN BE ANTIABORTION, BUT NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LEGISTLATE MORALITY.
And I am so upset by the Gay marraige amendments, passed by overwhelming majorities in all 11 states. What the fuck.
The worst thing is that he was legitimately elected. But he has no mandate. I give him nothing. Just watch- the country is going down the tubes.
Outside of the election...
I had classes- we signed with Deaf high schoolers which was so hard, because the girl I was with signed so fast. I had discussion where I thought the once entertaining professor was being sketchy.
I went to Hampton University today to do the last bit of research for my paper. I think I'm officially done researching (whee!).
UMD game tomorrow, we have to win. Step show tomorrow night maybe, if the game ends on time. But we should be good to go.
Out soon... dunno where we're going, maybe downtown? who knows:)
I am a computer genius, and also decided that I can't be a lesbian. I'm too straight on the spectrum. And my life is a dating desert... so I'll just be plant like:)
