China was awesome!!

Hot as heck, but awesome!

On TV, they reran the season of "ANTM", where they were in Shanghai, China.  God, Shanghai at night looks sooo pretty.  And the shopping...OMG!
Plus, "Project Runway" had a challenge to design the outfits for the female American Olympians to wear in the Opening Ceremonies.  I didn't get tickets to the Opening Ceremonies, but OMG I'm actually going ( Read more... )

I had a great vacation!

I was in London for three days, Paris for another three and Rome for two days.

London is still fun, but my God is it expensive!  It's gotten more expensive since I last visited three years ago.  The British pound equals about two US dollars, so a cab ride from Heathrow to the hotel cost me and my friend about $180!  Fish and ( Read more... )

Vacation in Florida (May 6-13th) did wonders for my mental health.  The weather in Orlando was perfect: upper 70's towards the beginning of the week, perfect for running around Disney and Universal.  It wasn't quite water-park weather until Saturday, when we went to Typhoon Lagoon.  And NO RAIN--yay!  Well, it did rain...no, pour...for 2 minutes ( Read more... )
