Finished Bitterblue last week and absolutely LOVED it. Great characters, great story and fabulous worldbuilding. It just sucks you in and doesn't let go. If you're looking for a great fantasy series try Graceling and Bitterblue when it's out in May ( Read more... )

Received my ARC copy of Bitterblue by Kristen Cashore today. I can't make up my mind if I want to finish Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare first or if I want to dive right in. I LOVED Graceling but couldn't connect with Fire very well. Now I'm worried Bitterblue will be the same. *sigh* Fingers crossed it will be as fantastic as Graceling ( Read more... )

Last week I jumped on the train for four hours and headed north to Montreal. It was wonderful! Montreal is such a fun city and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Before I left I had a bottle of sun screen in my hand (I am beyond fair and burn very easily), but told myself it's the end of September, I won't need screen. Hah! I burnt to a crisp!
