I'm slowly catching up

July
64) Savour the Danger, Lori Foster
fantastic contemporary action adventure, so so hot;)
65) The Search, Nora Roberts
it's been some time since I've read a NR, I really enjoyed it, despite the slight predictability
66) Heartless, Gail Carriger
OMG, another super-fun steampunk adventure, can't wait for the next one in the series
67) Hourglass, Myra McEntire (proof)
intriguing world with great characters, book kept me hooked from the start
68) Black Magic Woman, Christine Warren
well written story, but not one of my favourites in her fantastic series
69) Shift Happens, Storm Grant
great story written by a friend and my first encounter with m/m, might not be my last;)
70) Time of Death, J.D. Robb
great collection of Eve Dallas novellas I hadn't read before, I LOVE this character and everything that goes with this world Robb has created
71) Sweet Posession, Maya Banks
doesn't matter what genre Maya writes in, her stories always grab me from the first page, great sexy read with new and recurring characters
72) Mercy Burns, Kerri Arthur
OMG, I LOVE Kerri's writing, she has created an amazing world, this time with dragons; I bought my copy in New York at Nationals and met Kerri, she was lovely
73) Destiny Kills, Kerri Arthur
first book in her dragon series, I sincerely hope she will continue writing, it's fabulous
74) Master of Shadows, Angela Knight
I love Angela's Mageverse series, but she is developing and following a story line I don't enjoy as much, I'm hoping the next book will bring it to an end;)

August
75) Power of Six, Pittakus Lore
follow-up to I Am Number Four, still a good story, but I found myself reading other books and not as hooked as I was in the first book
76) Paranormalcy, Kiersten White
great writing and intriguing world-building, but I sometimes struggled believing with the characters' motivations and actions, but I'll read the second book to find out what happens next
77) What Happened in London, Julia Quinn
this is my first Julia Quinn book (yes, I know, where have I been hiding;) and I really enjoyed it, the dialogue was witty and hilarious
78) Bloodlines, Richelle Mead (proof)
this is my first journey into the Vampire Academy world, great worldbuilding, intriguing characters and an ending that left me wanting more
79) Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25, Richard Paul Evans
fast-paced action adventure, great read, especially for boys
80) Spell Bound, Kelley Armstrong
love, love, love Kelley's writing, another great story with fabulous characters
81) Cinder, Marissa Meyer (proof)
a retelling of Cinderella, with the main character a cyborg; Marissa has built an intricate and detailed world with great characters, she has added intriguing twists and turns and I'm curious to see how she finishes the series

I have a pile of books on my shelf, but I'm struggling to find something exciting to read. Any recommendations?
